RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2012-13 – NETWORK RAIL MAINTENANCE

As you may recall, your union accepted a two year pay deal with the company to cover 2012 and 2013. The second year of this deal is effective from 1^st January 2013 and, as agreed, was to be an increase to basic rates of pay based on November 2012 RPI (published in December 2012) + 0.5%.

November 2012 RPI has been announced this morning and it is 3%, which means that our Network Rail Maintenance members will receive a 3.5% increase to basic rates of pay from 1^st January 2013.

I would hope that our members can see this reflected in their wage packets at the earliest opportunity.
