Equal Opportunities

RMT seeks to represent the interests of all its members, and takes seriously the principle that an injury to one is an injury to all.

To inform the union's work and help frame policy, RMT has national advisory committees of women, black and ethnic minority members and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members elected regionally. Additionally, national conferences of these groups are held annually.

You will also find general equalities resources here covering topics such as parental leave and workplace harassment/bullying. For further information contact RMT equalities officer Pat Wilkinson on 020 7387 4771.
