Staff Our Stations

RMT is fighting plans by London Underground to axe 800 jobs and close ticket offices, undermining public and staff safety.

The union is preparing a strike ballot over the cuts which it warns will turn Tube stations into a “muggers paradise”.

London mayor Boris Johnson gave assurances on ticket offices and Tube staffing in the run up to his election and he has the responsibility to pull London Underground back from the brink.
