PROPOSED ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE – PULLMAN RAIL
I write in relation to the above matter. I have received a report informing me of an organisational change at Pullman Rail. The company have also produced the Pullman Rail Organisational Change Proposal Document, a copy of which I enclose with this letter. One meeting has already taken place between your representatives and the company at which your union voiced strong opposition to any compulsory redundancies which could arise from this process. The company responded by stating that sufficient alternative jobs should be available.
The matter has been considered by your National Executive Committee who has noted that a further consultation meeting is due to take place on 26th February 2018. It will be reiterated to the company at this meeting that any compulsory redundancies will be resisted by all industrial and legal means at your union’s disposal.
