29th July 2016

TO ALL RMT MEMBERS ON BRENT ALPHA, BRAVO CHARLIE, GANNET, NELSON, SHEARWATER & CURLEW PLATFORMS

Dear Colleague,

TERMS AND CONDITIONS, SHELL OPERATIONS – WOOD GROUP PSN

CHANGE TO CURRENT INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Further to my previous correspondence dated 19th July 2016, I write to advise you that there have been some developments in this dispute. These changes are that the Company are trying to divide the workforce by proposing a smaller cut to the Tech grades pay and conditions. Your negotiators asked if a similar offer would be made for Deck Crews and other associated grades but they were told there would be no change to original cuts for them.

The matter has been re-considered by your National Executive Committee and it has instructed that the following changes be made to the current industrial action:-

THE FOLLOWING NEW ACTION HAS BEEN CALLED

Members on the BRENT ALPHA, BRAVO, CHARLIE AND THE NELSON, GANNET AND SHEARWATER are instructed to cease work between:

06:30 on Thursday 4th August 2016 to 06:30 on Saturday 6th August 2016.

Members on the CURLEW PLATFORM are instructed to cease work between:-

07:00 on Thursday 4th August 2016 to 07:00 on Saturday 6th August 2016

THE FOLLOWING ACTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Members on Brent Alpha, Bravo & Charlie Platforms cease work between:-

06:30 to 09:30 and 18:30 to 21:30 on Thursday 4th August 2016
06:30 to 09:30 and 18:30 to 21:30 on Saturday 6th August 2016

Members on Gannet, Nelson & Shearwater cease work between:-

06:30 to 09:30 and 18:30 to 21:30 on Friday 5th August 2016
06:30 to 09:30 and 18:30 to 21:30 on Sunday 7th August 2016

Members on Curlew Platform cease work between:-

07:00 to 10:00 and 19:00 to 22:00 on Friday 5th August 2016
07:00 to 10:00 and 19:00 to 22:00 on Sunday 7th August 2016

Now is the time to stand together in solidarity and show the Company that you are not taking their sickening attitude anymore. Why should the Company’s executives be handed pay increases and inflated bonuses that are paid for by ferociously cutting your pay, terms and conditions.

SUPPORT YOUR UNION
SUPPORT THE INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Yours sincerely
