BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed, and the result is as follows: -

Are you prepared to take strike action?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot: 137
Number of votes cast in the ballot: 101
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question: 94
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question: 7
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned: 0

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot: 137
Number of votes cast in the ballot: 101
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question: 100
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question: 1
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned: 0

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted the ballot results which have met the thresholds for both strike action and action short of strike action.

Your NEC congratulates out Service Control members who are determined that LUL must address the numerous concerns our members at Hammersmith Service Control Centre and those being displaced from other locations have. I have been instructed to seek an urgent report from the Lead Officer to place back before the NEC.
