Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                    67

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                                48

The Union’s National Executive Committee has considered this matter and congratulates you on securing an overwhelming mandate for industrial action.

Following recent developments, the company has implemented a management change at Nottingham - as requested by the RMT - which took effect yesterday (Monday 24th March).

In addition, further proposals have been put forward which, if fully implemented within six weeks (by Monday 6th May 2025), would satisfactorily address the key issues, and potentially provide a way to resolve the dispute.

Considering this, the NEC has instructed me to obtain an updated report from the Lead Officer regarding the progress and implementation of these proposals.

Once received, this matter will be placed back before the NEC for further consideration, and I will update you and your colleagues accordingly.

Yours sincerely,

Eddie Dempsey

General Secretary
