Dear RMT Member,

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:             90

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                      43

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                       43

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                        0

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:           0

Unfortunately, despite a vote in favour of taking action the statutory thresholds have not been met in respect of this ballot. The union's National Executive Committee has taken the decision to re-ballot members and your new ballot paper will be arriving in the post from Saturday 8th June.

I urge you all to make sure you use your vote to ensure a 50% turnout in the ballot, which will allow RMT to demand that the Company meets with us to address your issues regarding Roster Principles; Pay & Associated Issues and Safe Systems of Work.

Yours sincerely

Michael Lynch
