BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN MANAGERS (TICKET SCANNING) - AVANTI WEST COAST

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed, and the result is as follows: -

 

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:        403                  

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                    247      

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                  241      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                    6          

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:      0                                  

 

The union’s National Executive Committee has considering this result and has congratulated members on your determination to seek a fair outcome over this matter. 

 

I am currently seeking an updated report from the Lead Officer and I will advise members of any further updates on this matter.
