CONTROL RESTRUCTURING – NEXUS (TYNE & WEAR METRO)

Further to my letter dated the 20th June 2022 with regards to the above matter, I can now advise you that the referendum of our affected members has closed and the result is as follows:

Total votes cast 27 (84%)
Number voting "Yes" 19 (70%)
Number voting "No" 8 (30%)

The matter has been subject to recent consideration by the union’s National Executive Committee who note the result of the referendum and I have been instructed to inform the company of our acceptance.
