RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2014
DB SCHENKER RAIL GROUNDSTAFF

Further to my letter dated 23rd April regarding the above, the referendum has concluded with the following result:-

Question: Are you prepared to accept the Company’s offer?

Total Votes Cast                               95
Number Voting ‘Yes’                      85
Number Voting ‘No’                       10
Spoilt Papers                                      0

This matter has been considered by the Union’s Executive Committee, which has noted the result and taken the decision to accept the offer. I have informed the Company accordingly and requested that the increase, along with backdated monies, is paid to you at the earliest opportunity.

For your ease of reference, the accepted offer is as follows:-

•    A 2.9% increase to rates of pay, including all allowances, backdated to 1st April 2014

DBS has also provided an assurance that they will commit to a self-funding, multi-year, productivity deal for the 2015 anniversary. Pensionable salaries will remain capped at the maximum increase of April 2013 CPI as per the previous agreement following the 2010 valuation.
