18th April 2017

Dear Colleagues,

Disciplinary – L. Cornell, S. Souissi & D. Sharp – London Bridge – London Underground (Waterloo Area)

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows: -

Are you prepared to take strike action?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:        35
Number of votes cast in the ballot:                        16
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:            12
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:            4
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:        0

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:        35
Number of votes cast in the ballot:                        16
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:            15
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:            1
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:        0

The National Executive Committee is currently considering this result and I shall write to you again shortly. However, regrettably the number of papers returned in this ballot does not meet the thresholds now required by the anti-trade union legislation. I cannot stress enough how important it is now that all members use and return their vote.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
