I write to advise you that the ballots have now closed, and the results are as follows:

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                    27

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                                24        

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                              24

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                                0

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:                  0          

 

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                    27

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                                24

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                              23

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                                1

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:                  0

              

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted that the result has reached the thresholds imposed by the anti-union laws and congratulates members for their resolve and determination.

 

I am currently seeking an updated report from your Regional Organiser with regards to this dispute and will write to you again in due course.
