NOISE LEVELS – LONDON UNDERGROUND

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:-

 

Are you prepared to take strike action?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:        121

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                    65

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                  58        

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                    7

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:      0

 

The number of votes cast in the ballot is at least 50% of the number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot. The number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question is at least 40% of the number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot.

 

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:        121

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                    65        

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                  61        

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                    4

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:      0        

 

The result is now being considered by your union’s National Executive Committee and I will keep you advised of developments.
