Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2014 – DHL Preston Brook
Further to my letter dated 13th August, the referendum regarding the above has concluded and the result is as follows:-
Total Votes Cast… 12
Number Voting ‘Yes’… 10
Number Voting ‘No’… 2
Spoilt Papers… 0
The result has been considered by the General Grades Committee, which has noted the result and taken the decision to inform the Company of our acceptance of the offer. The Company has now been informed and I have asked that the increase, along with backdated monies, is paid to members at the earliest opportunity.
For your ease of reference, the accepted offer is as follows:-
• A 2.1% increase to the basic rate of pay, including 0.1% achieved by removal of the Christmas function/gift contribution from the Company this year. This will be backdated to 1st April 2014.
• A commitment to work together with the site stewards towards a 46-hour working week from April 2015.
