Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2018 – RFA

Further to previous correspondence on the above matter, the pay referendum has now concluded and the result is as follows:-

Question: Are you prepared to accept the company’s offer?

Papers Returned: 56%
Number Voting ‘YES’: 3%
Number Voting ‘NO’: 95%
Spoilt Papers: 2%

The National Executive Committee has noted the result and it has rejected the company’s offer. The RFA has been informed of this decision and a meeting has been requested to seek an improved offer.

Furthermore, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to meet with our sister trades union at the RFA in order to agree a joint approach with regards to this issue. I am currently in the process of arranging this meeting and I will, of course, keep you fully advised on developments following the conclusion of these meetings.
