Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2019 – Harsco Rail
Further to my previous correspondence on the above matter, the pay referendum has now concluded and the result is as follows:-

Noting the result, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and any back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity. For ease of reference, the pay offer is as follows:-
•A salary increase of 2.8% effective from 1st January 2019.
In addition to the above the Qualified Driver Bonus and Maintenance Bonus payable amounts will be increased in line with the agreed pay awards as at 1st January 2020 and similarly for each year thereafter per the pay award agreed as at 1st January.
To clarify, the company currently pays a bonus to Qualified Drivers and Maintainers ranging from £750 to £3000. This is a performance-based bonus and paid each December and in each year since its introduction, 100% of the bonus payments have been made.
Future bonuses will be increased in line with the annual pay award but will not take effect until December 2020. To clarify the percentage increase amount applied would be the same as whatever percentage salary increase is agreed for that particular year.
