Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2019 – MacGregors

I write to advise you that the ballot of my members has now concluded and the result is as follows: -

Are you prepared to take strike action?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot: 5
Number of votes cast in the ballot: 5
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question: 5
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question: 0
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned: 0

The number of votes cast in the ballot is at least 50% of the number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot.

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot: 5
Number of votes cast in the ballot: 5
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question: 3
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question: 2
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned: 0

Both of the above results exceed the new legal thresholds and the National Executive Committee is currently considering this result. I shall write to you again shortly.
