Referring to our previous correspondence, the referendum has concluded, and the result is as follows:-

Total Votes Cast: 99
Number Voting ‘Yes’: 45
Number Voting ‘No’: 54
Spoilt Papers: 0

Your union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our rejection and to seek fresh talks to negotiate an improved offer. This instruction will be carried out and I will keep you advised of further developments.
