RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2022 – FREIGHTLINER LTD

Referring to our previous correspondence, the e-referendum has concluded, and the result is as follows:-

Votes Cast: 249
Number Voting ’Yes’: 140
Number Voting ‘No’: 109
Spoilt: 0

For ease of reference, the accepted offer is:-

Employees in grades whose current salary is under £25,000.00:

• An increase in basic rates of pay and any linked allowances to grades whose salary is below £25,000.00 of 5.0%
• Application to be backdated to 1st January 2022.

Employees in grades whose current salary is over £25,000.00:

• An increase in basic rates of pay and any linked allowances to grades whose salary is above £25,000.00 of 4.0%
• Application to be backdated to 1st November 2021.

Allowances that are common to all grades (e.g. SEA)

• These will increase by 4.0% and be backdated accordingly.

The increases to basic rates of pay as proposed are fully pensionable but will be subject to the Pensionable Pay Cap arrangements currently in place.

Noting the result, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity.
