RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2022 – SCOTRAIL

Referring to previous correspondence, the referendum has concluded and the result is as follows: 

Do you accept the company’s offer?
Votes Cast: 1446                  
Number Voting ‘Yes’: 580                       
Number Voting ‘No’: 866                                  

The union’s National Executive Committee has considered the result and noted that you and your colleagues have rejected Scotrail’s pay offer. Your NEC has therefore instructed me to inform the company of this rejection and seek an improved offer from management.

Should no improved offer be achieved, then a ballot for industrial action of you and your colleagues will commence.

I will of course keep you advised of any further developments.
