RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – ALSTOM CREWE

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:-

 

Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       16                          

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          8                  

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               6                  

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                2                  

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0                  

          

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       16                          

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          8                  

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               7                  

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                1                  

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0        

                             

Unfortunately, the ballot for strike action has not met the thresholds imposed due the anti-trade union laws, however, the thresholds of action short of a strike have been met.  

 

The Union’s National Executive Committee is currently considering this result and I shall write to you again shortly.
