Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Carlisle Support Services (Northern Trains Revenue and Gateline Contract)

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:

 

Question: Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:          145                          

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                            115               

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                113               

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                 2                     

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0                                                    

 

Question: Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:          145                          

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                            115               

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                113               

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                 2                     

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0          

                                                              

I would like to congratulate all members on voting positively for industrial action in this second ballot. The above result exceeds the statutory thresholds.
