RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023

ISLES OF SCILLY STEAMSHIP COMPANY

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:-

 

Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:             14                    

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                      9                      

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                       9                      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                        0                      

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:           0                      

 

Both of the above results meet the thresholds imposed due the anti-trade union laws and the National Executive Committee has congratulated members on delivering a mandate for strike action.

 

Further talks with the Company are due to take place on Thursday 5^th October and I will keep you advised of all further developments.
