Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Pacific Nuclear Transport Ltd 

 

The e-referendum has now concluded and the result is as follows:

 

Question: Are you prepared to accept the company’s offer?

 

Votes Cast     47                                                                                                 

Voting ‘Yes’    36                                                                                                         

Voting ‘No’     11                    

 

Noting the result, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and any back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity. For ease of reference, the accepted pay offer is as follows: 

 

For 2023/24: 

 

• An increase of 5.5% on basic pay, back dated to 1^st April 2023 plus a one-off, non-consolidated and non-pensionable payment of £1,500 for each Officer/Rating in employment by PNTL at the time of payment 

 

For 2024/25: 

 

• An increase of 5% on basic pay, taking effect on 1^st April 2024 
• Ratings grades 0-3 would be removed and all in scope ratings would be moved to grade 4 (also taking effect 1^st April 2024) 
• Grade 16 would be added across all Rating and Officer grades (also taking effect 1^st April 2024
