Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Royal Fleet Auxiliary 

 

Referring to previous correspondence, I write to advise you that the ballot has now concluded, and the result is as follows:

 

Question: Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                489              

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                   241     

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                        218     

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                         23      

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:               0                                                        

 

Unfortunately, the statutory thresholds have not been met in respect of this ballot.   

 

The union’s National Executive Committee has referred this matter into their Maritime Sub-Committee for examination and report and I shall write to you again shortly.
