Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Stagecoach East Midlands

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:-

 

Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                         194                  

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                                  128      

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                                   116      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                                    9          

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:                       3          

 

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:                         194                  

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                                                  128      

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:                                   123      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                                    4          

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:                       1          

 

Both of the above results meet the thresholds imposed due the anti-trade union laws and the National Executive Committee has congratulated members on delivering a mandate for strike action and action short of a strike. The NEC has taken the decision to arrange a meeting with your Lead Officer and Reps to discuss our next steps and I shall write to you again shortly.
