RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – STORY PLANT

 

The referendum of RMT members at Story Plant over the company’s pay offer has closed and the result is as follows:

 

Question: Do you accept the company’s offer?

 

Total votes cast 55

Number voting “YES” 14

Number voting “NO” 41

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has considered this result and noted your rejection of the offer. The NEC has therefore instructed me to ballot all affected members for strike action and action short of strike action.

 

It is essential that this upcoming ballot meets the thresholds imposed by the anti-trade union laws — the mandate from a “YES” vote in the ballot will be necessary to progress negotiations with your employer and to secure you a reasonable pay increase.
