RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – DHL (AVANTI WEST COAST CONTRACT)

 

The referendum of you and your colleagues over the company’s pay offer has concluded and the result is as follows:

 

Do you accept the company’s offer?

Total votes cast                   79

Number voting YES            64

Number voting NO              15

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted this result and instructed me to advise the company of our acceptance.

 

To reiterate, the pay offer was as follows:

 

• A 15-month deal, covering period of 1^st January 2024 to 31^st March 2025. This is to align the pay deal in line with the customer budget year moving forward to avoid having delays in future negotiations
• London employees will continue to receive additional London Allowance of £175 per month (£2100 per annum). Part time colleagues will receive a pro-rated amount
• DHL and Avanti West Coast will commit to making 12 additional colleagues permanent from 1^st of June 2024. Further permanent positions are being discussed with Avanti West Coast
• The next pay review date will be April 2025

I would like to thank you for participating in this process and I can advise that I will be requesting an early implantation of the new pay rates and all backdated payments.
