Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Bluestar (Go South Coast)

 

The referendum has now concluded with members voting as follows:

Total Votes Cast…                                 96 (79.34%)

Number Voting Yes…                             87

Number Voting No…                              9

 

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has noted the result and taken the decision to advise the Company of our acceptance of the offer. I have asked that the increase is paid to members at the earliest opportunity.

 

For your ease of reference, the accepted offer is as follows:

 

• A 7.14% increase across all grades, effective 1^st January 2024. This will increase the Drivers rate by £1 per hour from £14 to £15.
• An additional concessionary pass for one eligible child for staff who have completed 24 months continuous service.
• Current trainees will receive a £1 per hour increase from 1^st January 2024. New trainees will be paid the current £13.00 rate.
