RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2025 – BALFOUR BEATY RAIL PLANT

 

I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed, and the results are as follows: 

 

Are you prepared to take strike action?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       127     

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          85                

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               67      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                16      

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     2                  

 

Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       127     

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          85      

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               77      

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                8        

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0        

            

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted that the result has reached the thresholds imposed by the anti-union laws and congratulates members for their resolve and determination.

 

I am currently seeking an updated report from your Regional Organiser with regards to this dispute and will write to you again in due course.
