Dear Colleague
REDUCTION IN THE WORKING WEEK, CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS – NEMOL
Further to my letter dated the 17th October 2017 with regards to the above matter, I can now inform you that the referendum result of the ‘reduction in the working week’ has concluded and the result is as follows:
Papers Returned: 63
Voting Yes: 2
Voting No: 61
Spoilt Papers: 0
The matter has been subject to recent consideration by the union’s National Executive Committee who notes a failure to reach an agreement after holding the referendum. Therefore, I have been instructed to commence with the ballot for strike action and action short of a strike of all our affected members as soon as practical.
I am giving this matter my earliest attention and I will write again in due course.
Yours sincerely
Mick Cash
General Secretary
