Referring to previous correspondence, I write to advise you that the ballot has now closed and the result is as follows:

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       4                           

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          2                  

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               2                  

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                0                           

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0                                                        

 

Question: Are you prepared to take industrial action short of a strike?

 

Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:       4                           

Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                          2                  

Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:               2

Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:                0                  

Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:     0

 

The union’s National Executive Committee has considered this matter and congratulated you and your colleagues on delivering a mandate for industrial action and sending a clear message to the company. I am currently seeking an updated report from the Lead Officer, which I will place before the National Executive Committee for further consideration.
