Dear Colleague,

COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME – NON DRIVER – FREIGHTLINER

Freightliner gave proposals for the introduction of competence development programme for non-drivers. Following meetings with your representatives and a report from the Lead Officer, the National Executive Committee have noted and adopted the following report of their Health and Safety Sub-committee:

“That we note the documents on file and the report from the Lead Officer, which sets out the advantages of the proposed system. Accordingly we instruct the General Secretary to inform the company of our acceptance of the proposals.

Branches and Regional Councils be advised.”
