DIESEL FUMES ON PLATFORMS

The General Grades Committee have noted and adopted the following report of their Health and Safety Sub-committee:

We note and support the sentiments of the National Conference of Station and Associated Grades Conference resolution and that our concerns over diesel exposure are being dealt with under the main Diesel Exposure file. We therefore instruct the General Secretary to merge this file with the main Diesel file.

Branches and Regional Councils to be informed.

I am acting in accordance with these instructions and will keep you informed of developments with this case.
