Drug & Alcohol Testing Sub-Contractors/Nominated Drivers – City Link

On giving consideration to a resolution from the AGM the General Grades Committee noted and adopted the following report of their Health and Safety Sub Committee:

We note and support the sentiments of the resolution and the criteria used in D&A Testing on sub-contractors and nominated drivers. We instruct the General Secretary to write to the company setting out our concerns in this matter and seeking details of the company’s D&A testing policy. Further developments to be placed back in front of this General Grades Committee.

Branches and Regional Councils be advised.

I am acting in accordance with these instructions and will keep you informed of developments with this case.
