Dear Colleague,

ELECTRONIC DRIVING LICENCE CHECKS – NETWORK RAIL

The name of the company carrying out data processing issues in connection with Driving Licence checks has changed from Hitachi to Novuna, but this has no impact on the checks as it is still ADT that holds the data - and the situation remains the same that staff can withdraw their consent at any point.

I am aware that Network Rail is not making its staff aware that there is a second option to provide the data to their line manager.

I have written to Network Rail noting the name change and explaining that it needs to make staff aware that they can provide this data to their line manager and that they do not have to report it to a third-party provider.

Members should please be aware that there is a second option to provide the data to your line manager.

Yours sincerely
