EXCESSIVE HOURS

Following a resolution to the National Health and Safety Advisory Conference the Council of Executives have noted and adopted the following report of their Health and Safety Sub-committee:

We instruct the General Secretary to merge this file with the main Fatigue file and to give consideration to the campaign suggestions as outlined in the resolution. Drafts of the campaign material to be placed before the members of the Council of Executives Health and Safety Sub-committee prior to approval by the Council of Executives.

Branches, Shipping Branches and Regional Councils to be informed.

I am acting in accordance with these instructions and will keep you informed of developments with this case.
