LANDSLIPS AND FLOODING ON SCOTLAND’S RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE

 

 

Your National Executive Committee (NEC) met on 22nd April 2021 when it noted adopted the following report of its Health and Safety Sub Committee:

 

We note the response from Network Rail and the outline response that has been developed. The General Secretary is instructed to develop RMT’s response prior to sharing with the company.

 

Branches and Regional Councils to be advised.

 

In its decision, your NEC added that:

 

In addition, a report has been received from our Lead Officer.

 

Further an updated report has been provided by the Regional Organiser. A copy of the report is attached to the file. The matter is placed before you for your consideration.

 

The General Secretary is instructed to set up a further meeting with Lead Officer, Gordon Martin and our Health & Safety sub-committee on this matter.
