London Midland – Platform Train Interface

Referring to Decision No NWW, 3rd March 2016, following negotiations between the company and your representatives on PTI Visual Assessment, your National Executive Committee have noted and adopted the following resolution:

We note the recent report on file from the Lead Officer, and further note the “fail to agree” registered with the company by our Senior Conductor company council representatives, over the proposed introduction of a platform train interface monitoring policy.

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to convene an urgent meeting, to be attended by a National Officer, Lead Officer, H & S dept, London Midland Senior Company Council representatives, London Midland Senior Health & Safety Reps ( Paul Howes and Wayne Moore) and NEC members present, to be convened at Unity House no later than 17th March 2016.

Relevant branches and Regional Councils to be advised.

I am acting in accordance with those instructions.
