LONG COVID

Further to Circular NP/107/21, dated 7th April 2021, your National Executive Committee, at its meeting on 25th May, noted and adopted the following report from its Health and Safety Sub-committee:

We note the correspondence from RMT Regional Organisers and from RICF.

The General Secretary is instructed to write to RICF with concerns that it sees no need for a national agreement on Long Covid and to request that it revisits this decision.

Additionally, we develop guidance, alongside the TUC, for members on Long Covid.

Branches and Regional Councils to be advised.

I am acting in accordance with these instructions. Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of relevant members.
