MARTIN ZEE – GUARD MERSEYRAIL
* CHANGE OF DATE to 7th MARCH 2017 *

Referring to my previous circular NP/24/17, 10th February 2017, Branches and Regional Councils are reminded that RMT have called for a demonstration to show our unequivocal support for Bro Martin Zee and the legal process he finds himself in at this present time. Due to difficulties with Judges’ schedules, the court date for the hearing has been moved back one day to Tuesday 7th March 2017.  

RMT members are to be encouraged to show solidarity with Martin by attending the location of the court case, The Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, Derby Square, Liverpool, Merseyside, L2 1XA along with members of other unions. The demo will commence at 09:30.

In reiterating that our member continues to have our full support, attendance would be a legitimate expenditure from Branch and Regional Council branch management fund.

Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of relevant members.
