RMT is again sponsoring the Conference nationally. A number of RMT Branches, including Cardiff No. 7, Fife & District, Leeds City, Paddington No. 1, Portsmouth, Sheffield & District, Southall Ealing & Slough, and Wishaw & Motherwell, have sponsored the Hazards Campaign.
Other Branches and Regional Councils are encouraged to consider sponsoring this Conference and also consider sending delegates, in order to provide RMT input into this very important event in the Trade Union calendar.
If your Branch or Regional Council would also like to sponsor this year’s event please see:

If you would like more information about the conference then please email hazconf@gmhazards.org.uk or phone Janet Newsham on 07734 317158.
The National Hazards Conference is the biggest gathering of safety reps in the country, bringing together reps from a range of different unions along with community H&S activists from organisations such as FACK (Families Against Corporate Killing) and asbestos campaigners amongst others.
With an excellent range of speakers and workshops on specialist health and safety issues, the conference is the ideal opportunity for RMT safety reps to broaden their knowledge and to network with other likeminded people.
Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of relevant members.
Yours sincerely
Michael Lynch
General Secretary
