NATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE 2019-2021 NOMINATION RESULTS

 

Further to Head Office Circular NP/167/18, 30^th August 2018, I am pleased to announce that at the closure of the nomination process the following members have been elected unopposed to the National Health and Safety Advisory Committee for the term of office 1^st January 2019 to 31^st December 2021:

 

Constituency	Nominee
2	M. Wornes
3	D. Pilling
4	N. Sutherland
6	N. Saunders
10	W. Moore
11	J. McDaid
M3	S. MacCormick

 

At the close of nominations the following constituencies received more than one nomination and therefore an election process is necessary:

 

• Constituency No.1 – Scotland
• Constituency No. 5 – Yorkshire & Lincolnshire
• Constituency No.7 – South Wales & South West
• Constituency No.8 – South West
• Constituency No.9 – South East
• Constituency No. 12  - Wessex

 

Separate Circulars with details of the ballot process and ballot papers will be distributed to relevant Branches.

  

No nominations were received for the following Constituencies:

 

• Constituency M1 – Maritime
• Constituency M4 – Maritime 

 

In the case of Constituency M2, an incorrect nomination was received for a member who is outside of that region and therefore the nomination has been declared void.

 

Further Circulars will be issued seeking nominations for these constituencies.
