Dear Colleague,

NATIONAL MARITIME OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE

The matter has been placed infront of your National Executive Committee and they have agreed the following decisions;

“That we note the minutes from the meeting on 12th July 2018 and the previous meetings dating back to 10th March 2016 are now on file.

Therefore we instruct the General Secretary to circulate all minutes from the 2018 meetings to Maritime branches.

Furthermore a cover letter should be provided giving information regarding the National Maritime Occupational Health and Safety Committee, the involvement of the RMT, how to raise agenda items through the unions’ machinery and request feedback from the branches regarding matters contained within the minutes. This should also note that the next meeting is scheduled for the 10th December 2018. All branches to be informed”

I am in the process of carrying out those decisions.
