NETWORK RAIL – KENT ROUTE WORKSITE X PROPOSAL

 

I write further to my circular number 302, dated 17^th December 2024. To explain that I have received correspondence from Network Rail - in which they explain that to address RMT concerns about insufficient consultation with the RMT Network Rail lead reps before items proceeded to RSSB TOM SC (Train Operation Management Standards Committee) meetings for deviation requests - that they intend to incorporate all types of Work site X within the portfolio on T3 possessions. 

 

            At its meeting on 27^th March 2025, your National Executive Committee noted and adopted the following report from its Health and Safety sub-committee from when it met to consider the NWR proposal:

      

We note the correspondence received from Network Rail. We instruct the General Secretary to proceed as suggested by the company – and to include lead industrial reps in their plans too. 

 

            I am acting in line with these instructions. Please bring this circular to the attention of all relevant members.
