Network Rail – Roles and Responsibilities Programme [Planning and Delivery Of Safe Work/Safe Work Leader]

Further to Head Office Circular NP/222/15, 12th November 2015, a further letter has been received from Network Rail outlining their proposals for the “pause” of the PDSW/SWL process. This response has been considered by the General Grades Committee who have adopted the following Resolution:

Further to our decision GWW, 11th November 2015, we note the latest correspondence on file from Network Rail. We welcome the statement that the transition back to using SSOWPs should be in place by the 7th December 2015. We also welcome Network Rail’s intentions to convene a meeting with the “relevant people”. Whilst we view this as a positive move we believe that it is necessary to reiterate our previous decision of the 11th November 2015 that until such time as we have a joint agreement on the way forward we remain in dispute with the company. All developments to be placed back before the GGC.
