NETWORK RAIL – AREA HEALTH & SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE ROLE DESCRIPTION
Further to my Circular NP/116/12 of 22nd May 2012 a revised draft of the role description was considered by the Health and Safety Sub-committee of the General Grades Committee who made the following report:
“We note a workshop of Network Rail Area Health and Safety Reps where a number of ideas were proposed around the role of Area Health and Safety Reps. We endorse the proposal of the General Secretary and instruct him to distribute details of the role to the Area Health and Safety Reps, Branches, Regional Councils. In addition to provide a copy to the Education Officer as assistance in developing a training course for our Network Rail Safety Reps.”
The report was noted and adopted by the General Grades Committee on 30th August 2012.
