NETWORK RAIL – DIESEL FUMES INVERNESS SIGNALLING CENTRE

 

Further to Head Office Circular NP/307/24, dated 19^th December 2024, I have received reports form your lead officer and lead reps with serious concerns that this matter has not yet been dealt with satisfactorily by the employer.

 

I am therefore reminding members of your rights under the company's Work Safe Procedure and in legislation (Section 44 of the Employment Rights Act 1996). You should remove yourself to a place of safety if you feel you are in serious and imminent danger and not to work if you believe your safety is compromised. Members may also wish to submit L3 forms which can be found on this page in case they suffer some long-term effects from the fumes.
