NETWORK RAIL ELECTRICAL SAFETY DELIVERY PROGRAMME

Further to Head Office Circular NP/097/17 this matter was considered again by your National Executive Committee who have noted the following Decision:

That we note a meeting of our full time Network Rail representatives and NEC took place on 4th July 2017 to discuss Network Rail’s project on single approach isolations and the related work on revising the 25kv green book.

Further we note that our union has been invited to participate in a number of workstreams around the electrical safety delivery programme. Following consultation with our elected Network Rail Representatives the following reps were recommended to participate in the workstreams on behalf of the RMT:

•             Colin Perry - OHL - H&S - Scotland
•             Carlo Pezzulo – OHL – LUHSR
•             Stan Herschel – OHL – National Coordinator
•             Paul Thornton – ECO – York
•             Mark Denny – D&P – IR – Preston
•             Scott Bruce – OHL – IR Scotland
•             Daniel Plummer – OHL – Western

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to advise Network Rail of our chosen Representatives to participate in the programme and further we instruct the General Secretary to inform Network Rail that we should reserve the right to co-opt appropriate Reps for particular meetings who may have a specialist knowledge of matters under consideration.

Relevant Branches and Regional Councils be advised.
